ABOUT US

WHAT IS LUMINOSITY?

We are New Wine's youth initiative, a movement of young people from across the UK who are pursuing Jesus wholeheartedly. We believe this generation will shine the light of Jesus brighter than any generation before.

Running as a “festival within a festival” in the summer, Luminosity is a dedicated space where young people can grow in faith while being part of the wider festival experience.

Throughout the year we are committed to impacting young lives across the nation, raising a generation confident in Jesus, and inspiring transformation through the local church.

We are passionate about empowering and equipping young people to shine the light of Jesus in their schools, families, clubs and communities, and partner with Amplify to put this into action.

'The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it'

John 1:5

WHAT IS NEW WINE FESTIVAL?

New Wine Festival is a six-day event, with around 14,000 joining from across the UK and beyond for an incredible week of worship, teaching, ministry, and community. It’s a time to encounter God afresh through the Holy Spirit, grow deeper in faith, and make lasting memories as church family. The adult, youth, kids and accessible programmes are packed with main celebrations with worship, teaching and ministry, alongside workshops, pop-up events, arts, sports and more.

New Wine Festival 2026 takes place at The Bath and West Showground, Shepton Mallet in Somerset.

How does the "festival within a festival" work?

Young people camp on site or stay offsite with their families and church groups rather than being separated off somewhere else, and can enter the Luminosity Village throughout the day from early morning to late evening, feeling integrated into the larger festival while still being tailored for youth. If you’re a youth leader and bringing a group, you can join in as well – just get in touch with us at info@new-wine.org to gain access to the village.
